The brand new and highly antisipated Phoenix range has finally landed in the UK. Products from this premium brand are always of the highest quality and we are super excited to bring you reviews on everything in the range that has excited us, granted that does not leave much left! First up we have taken a closer look at the new 110mm F8 wheels.
Let’s start this off with the look of the wheel, phoenix been very creative with the design of these wheels going with something a little more unique, which phoenix have pulled off very successfully as you can see in the image below. Whilst making them look amazing they have also saved a lot of weight “which is 249g” by cutting away the unneeded materials from the core itself but maintaining the strength and integrity of the core.
How Do They Ride
I was looking forward to reviewing phoenix wheels because I knew that phoenix were a top of the range brand and I wanted to put them through some rigorous riding to see how they held up.
I was amazed with the preinstalled abec 9 bearings that are in the phoenix wheels allowing me to get great speeds and to roll for a lot longer than previous bearings that I have rode.
But the thing that made these the best wheels I’ve ever rode was the polyurethane. The polyurethane is harder than other wheels (86a) giving you a faster smoother ride in general and because of the harder polyurethane the wheels don’t ware away as quickly as other wheels giving you a longer wheel life which is always a good thing.
So if you’re looking for the next generation of wheels you search has come to an end, phoenix have found the perfect way to make a wheel they look great, they come with preinstalled bearing, there extremely fast and great with ware and tare and for the price well £25 per wheel you can’t go wrong, if I was to advise what wheels you should ride I would hands down say phoenix wheels best wheels out there, so go get yourself a pair to experience the pleasure of riding such great wheels.
