The brand new and highly anticipated Phoenix range has finally landed in the UK. Products from this premium brand are always of the highest quality and we are super excited to bring you reviews on everything in the range that has excited us, granted that does not leave much left! We are now moving on to the slick classic alloy Phorx
We are going to start off with the looks of the forks and Phoenix haven’t let us down, giving us a beautiful sleek, rounded shape, with an amazing anodised finish coming in a variety of colours giving you a great range to choose from. The Laser etched graphics on the side is a really nice touch that really showcases the attention to detail Phoenix put into all their products. Whilst maintaining a great look they have also incorporated super strength, which usually means a considerable weight. But no! Phoenix have somehow kept it incredibly light weight coming in at only 340grams. The “Phork” has been designed around the new 34.9mm HIC shim system which makes life just that much more simple, while the harder HiTen Steel axle bolts keep your front end dialled for longer as well helping maintain bearing life.
Right, down to the information that everyone wants to know. How do they feel to ride? Well, let’s just say phoenix have always had some of the best products on the market and have carried on producing fantastic stuff and we couldn’t wait to start reviewing these great looking forks. I was astounded with the thought they had put in to these forks. Starting with the integrated star nut which gives you great compression, it’s so nice not having to worry about the start nut slipping within the forks. They also installed an integrated crown raise making it easier to install on to your scooter of which are compatible with HIC and SCS. We have been riding these great forks for six months now and to this day are holding up with no sign of bending cracking or snapping. It’s nice to know whilst riding you can have a fork that can be trusted to hold all you and all the insane tricks you’re throwing down.
So if you’re looking for the fork that will support you’re riding, look no further phoenix have done it again producing a top of the range product ideal for any style of riding whether you ride park or street these forks will not let you down and for the price of £55 you really can’t go wrong for such a strong great looking fork so get yourself to www.doggscooters.com and hook yourself up before there all gone.
