Huffy has always been a brand built on quality and now they have introduced there huffy slider range to the UK. Still relatively new to our shores the slider community is growing at a fast pace. Starting with the Comp and leading all the way up to the top of the range Pro 3 there are Five models in total to choose from in their range and we are going to take a look at the middle of the range Pro1.
The Huffy Slider Pro 1 Frame features 2-piece oversize steel frame with pro geometry, creating a low centre of gravity for speed advantages. Extra-wide 700mm steel handlebar improves control and handling with less flex. Mechanical disk brake with 160mm Rotor provides consistent, all-weather stopping power connected to the huffy front hub and 20 inch front wheel. To the rear Huffy 1000g slick rear wheels with long-lasting cartridge sealed bearings are perfect for drifting and sliding.
How it Rides
From the first moment you sit on the Pro1 you feel at home with its Pro geometry and solid frame giving you the confidence to try new tricks or just chucking down the old ones. You cannot go wrong with a huffy Pro1 hitting those country roads at high speeds and holding the biggest drift ever or just chucking it around and getting those 360/720 dialled the Pro1 will deliver. Once I had got used to the grip or should I say lack of grip from the Huffy 1000g rear wheels I was soon pushing past my own comfort zone and when you do see that corner coming at you a bit too fast the 160mm disk brake was there to help.
If you want that next buzz or just want to put the biggest smile on your face since you were a kid you need a huffy in your life. You cannot go wrong with a huffy Pro1 hitting those country roads at high speeds and holding the biggest drift ever or just chucking it around and getting those 360/720 dialled the Pro1 will deliver. If you think drift/slider trikes are for kids you are very much mistaken just check out the article www.voidmag.com/south-west-drift-trikes-go-back-to-the-gorge/ The Huffy Pro1 will take whatever you want to chuck at it and once you’re hooked it can be upgraded whether it be wheels seat huffy have it. All I would say is where a full face helmet at all times (smash a lid not your head)
Get out with your mates and get your drift on.
