Spec –This wheel consists of a 110mm white polyurethane outer and a CNC machined purple alloy core. This wheel can be used as either the front or rear wheel.
How well it works – The grit ultra light 110mm wheel is a very strong, lightweight and durable wheel. This is all because of the quality the materials used, and the manufacturing processes used to make the wheel. This is one of the best grit wheels I’ve tested so far. Firstly it lasts a hell of a long time, it doesn’t flat spot or de-hub easily. The wheel being so light, means that it doesn’t add a considerable amount of weight to your set up, unlike some other after market metal core wheels. There’s nothing I would want to change about this wheel, apart from maybe bring out a 125mm version.
Conclusion – Overall, this is an awesome wheel that would suit any style of rider. It’s a perfect combination of strength and weight that makes this wheel so good. I would use this wheel mainly because of how well it rides, how smooth it is and just the fact that it feels solid, giving you the confidence to ride without having to worry about it de-hubbing or flat spotting.
