Crisp scooters have just started to released their 2015 range with some very cool afar market parts. The new range of wheels are looking really good but no more than the new 125mm wheel. These wheels come with black 88a PU with a core made from 6061 Alloy that come in Purple, Red or Titanium and are obviously 125mm with a slightly more rounded profile than previous years wheels. These wheels come standard with abec seven bearings.
How well it works –
Straight out off the packaging the wheels look super nice with all black PU and the sick new Crisp logo. The 6061 Alloy core comes in three dope colours, Red, Purple and Titanium and the core design is super sick. Once on the scooter we noticed they felt a hell of a lot lighter than the old Crisp 125mm wheel and although the PU is still 88a it felt different to us. We are pretty sure that it’s a slightly harder compound which resulted in a much faster ride. The curved double spoked cores are without a doubt much stronger than the old single spoked ones which were known for buckling under the pressure of high impact tricks. The bearings are high quality abec sevens that roll fast and smooth making every trick feel super sick.
We conclude that these wheels are a huge improvement on the first Crisp 125mm wheels. The brand obviously learnt a lot from their first venture into the 125mm wheel market cause these 2015 ones both look sick and hell but also do the job. The core strength is such a huge thing with larger wheels and Crisp scooters have nailed it with this wheel.
